The VAIO® Z Canvas 2-in1 PC made its official US debut in Los Angeles at the Adobe MAX 2015 on October 3th – 7th. Industry professionals from around the world gathered to talk shop and test new technologies, including the VAIO Z Canvas.
VAIO had another successful showing at Adobe Max in Los Angeles, California. The conference is the premier event of the year for the creative community with more than 7000 professionals in attendance from over 15 countries. VAIO was a Gold Sponsor of Adobe MAX and the event served as one of the stages for their official launch into the US market. The VAIO booth gave attendees the opportunity to test out the VAIO Z Canvas first hand.
Despite showing alongside the likes of dell, hp and microsoft, vaio was a stand-out. as indicated from the dedicated vaio booth staff and 200-plus completed questionnaires, the creative community is absolutely excited about the vaio z canvas. feedback was universally positive about all of the features the vaio z canvas has to offer. attendees loved the stylus and were impressed with the responsiveness and accuracy that it offered. the performance of the stylus can be contributed directly to the 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity supported by the pen. the unique optical resin between the lcd and glass along with software calibration reduces the parallax providing an unrivaled drawing experience. attendees were impressed by the overall speed and performance of the vaio z canvas. many commented that its speed and responsiveness far exceeded that of any other 2-in-1 pc at the event. others favored the abundance of ports providing unparalleled connectivity which include 2 usb 3.0 ports, full size sd memory card reader, hdmi output and more. the most talked about feature by far was the adjustable kickstand coupled with detachable keyboard. the audience found that the adjustable angle of the screen and the flexibility of placing the keyboard to either side created a more natural, comfortable user experience.
In addition to having a booth at adobe max, vaio also held a breakout session during the conference. spokesman from vaio, ty takayanagi introduced the vaio z canvas to the audience with a brief overview and passed out a few samples to lucky participants to take a test drive. from there award-winning artist rayce bird (winner of syfy channel’s face off: Season 2) led audience members through a demonstration of his techniques using both Adobe Photoshop and Pixologic ZBrush. Users of the sample VAIO Z Canvas’ found the device easy to use and capable of producing amazing artwork. Of course the talents of Rayce Bird didn’t go unnoticed.
Every thought and detail that went into the making of the VAIO Z Canvas proves that VAIO has really done an exceptional job creating a right tool for the artists to unleash their creativityAdobe MAX proved to be a great success and an excellent venue to launch VAIO in the US market.
